The first full day of activities is about to begin. Are you ready to wake up and make yourself a priority? Make small changes in your life to feel more like you. Make that space that allows you to feel your internal demands and not the demands of your family, your work, or the social circle that you are trying to keep up with?
The morning will start with a body weight workout. This workout can easily be modified to increase intensity if you are a fitness guiro or modified if you are dealing with an injury. This workout is designed to make you sweat, smile...possibly swear, but most importantly, you will complete this workout and be proud you woke up and and moved your body. You will also get to experience the sun rising, the cool ocean air to keep your body from overheating and a group of people that are working side by side with you.
As you head down the stairs you will smell the breakfast being prepared for the group. Coffee, tea or water will be ready for you to complete your morning routine. There will also be a bit of time to prepare for the day, if you need to shower, call home, chat with a new friend you made yesterday or just enjoy the hustle and bustle of the kitchen.
After your stomach's are full and you are feeling content we will be heading to the beach to meet Oscar from Bucerias Surf to learn the basics of Stand Up Paddle Boarding(SUP). Oscar is an expert at giving great tips for SUP success, we will head out on the Bay and gain confidence and comfort on the ocean. We do this at your pace, the goal today is to ensure you feel content to do a bigger trip tomorrow. (There is also options for kayaking if that is more comfortable to you)
When we are happy with our trip out, we will paddle back into shore and check out a restaurant for a delicious lunch. This will be a great time to tour the town, take a swim in the ocean, do some shopping or relax on the beach or in the pool. This time is for you to enjoy.
Supper is also a time for you to enjoy some amazing Mexican cuisine, you can do this as a group, on your own, or with your travel companion. Rochelle and Kathy are happy to offer suggestions or even book you a reservation.
Upon arriving back from supper, its time to head back p to the roof for some well deserved Yin Yoga. A gentle and relaxing stretch for your whole body, after a great 1st day of fun in the sun. If you're not ready for bed after that, the evening is yours. Watch some Netflix and chill in the living-room, go for an evening stroll, or visit with all of your new friends. Remember it's your trip, enjoy as you see fit.
